The same surface, stacked
A wooden staircase, a mezzanine over the living room and the sea from the bedroom downstairs. Five villas, up to three guests, and one of them is set up for a family with a child under twelve.
Two floors change who can come, not how much room there is
The Ocean Duplex and the Ocean Villa measure the same and cost the hotel the same footprint of grove. What the second floor buys is distance: the double bed goes upstairs and the third bed stays downstairs, next to the sofa. That is exactly what a family with one child, or two friends travelling together, need.
The bathroom has a bathtub. Cots and extra beds are arranged as a special request when you book, not at the desk on arrival — it is the one thing worth writing down in the booking.

The villa, step by step
The same villa in 3 photographs, in the order you would walk it: out to the stone courtyard, up the staircase and into the mezzanine.
-
01 / 03 The courtyard
The room opens onto a courtyard of its own, walled in slate and open to the sky.
-
02 / 03 The staircase
The staircase climbs to the mezzanine past the louvred doors, under the tiled roof.
-
03 / 03 The mezzanine
Upstairs the beamed roof opens out whole, and the railing looks back down over the room.
All of them are of an Ocean Duplex Villa. We only show what we have photographed of this type.

Does the hotel work for families with children?
Yes, and the room decides how many of you fit: the Private Pool Villa and the Private Pool Sea View Villa sleep four, the Ocean Duplex Villa and the Junior Suite three, and the Duplex Villa two plus one. One of the five Ocean Duplex is set up for a family with a child under twelve. Faifo has a children's menu, and Bamboo Spa has a treatment for under-tens — facials from twelve, massages from sixteen. If you need a cot or an extra bed, send it as a special request when you book: reception checks it with housekeeping and comes back to you before you travel.
What is Hà My beach like?
Hà My is one of the best preserved stretches between Hoi An and Da Nang, and one of the quietest: open sand and a coconut grove behind it, with far fewer people than the beaches next to town. The access is direct from the resort: you walk out through the coconut grove without crossing any public road. Two things worth knowing before you swim: bathing is only allowed in the marked safe area, and there is no lifeguard — the sea is your own responsibility.
